Vintage square gold-tone metal Avon powder compact with scrollwork latch.
This lovely vintage Avon powder compact features pretty scrollwork along the latch. The latch folds down to allow the compact to be opened and closed. A panel inside snaps closed over a compartment to keep powder contained. Original puff included. Appx measurements: 2-3/4" square x 1/2" high. Made of metal-May be brass. The interior of this compact appears as though it has never been used. Does not currently contain powder. Preowned. Some wear may be seen. This version of the Avon logo was in use during the early 1950s.
