Vintage 70s Jerry Edouard Embroidered Knee High Lace Up Boots, 7B

Rare Jerry Edouard embroidered knee high lace up boots from the early 1970s. Luscious dark brown suede leather with colorful embroidered flowers and beading. Lace up front, with a round toe and heel design. Leather is very soft and supple. Black elastic laces (may not be original to the boots). Brown painted eyelets (some paint has flaked, silver below) and speed lacing hooks. Brown leather sole and heels. Gold lettering inside for brand, size and that they were sold by Famous Barr. Made in Greece. Size 7 B These are the same model as in the one in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (the MET) archive and made by the same designer as worn by Kate Hudson in the "Almost Famous" Movie! In excellent vintage condition. Soles show minimal wear, some very small knicks and scuffs on the heels. Some loose or missing beads, a few loose embroidery threads. Most noticeable damage is to the edge of one tongue, looks a bit chewed on.
