Candleshades and Carriers - Reproductions - two sets

These handmade primitive candleshades elevate your mood, whether on your elegant dining table or next to your scotch by the fire. Will sell each pair separately for $50 or both pairs for $90. The autumn motif scalloped-edge shades have a creme-colored background with hand-painted natural, brown and crimson-colored autumn leaves, red berries, and red mushrooms. These shades appear to be made of vellum that has a leather-look texture to them with a satiny finish and are signed: C.S. Storey '93. The solid black shades also have a textured finish paper, sort of a hardly noticeable criss-cross pattern, and a thin, muted-gold trimline at both the top and bottom openings; inside has the same muted-gold color. Not signed but these were purchased from the same store in the Berkshires (MA) in 1993, so likely made by the same artist. These shades go with any color candle (non-tapered) and the carriers are solid brass. NOTE: Only the shades and brass carriers are for sale; I am not selling candlesticks or candles.
