Vintage Indian statue

Indigenous statue. Bought on vacation in the 80's in either Mexico or Columbia . I'm not sure if it's Columbian or Mexican. Aprox 12" tall . Not sure of the material. There is a crack mark on the bottom that seems to be from the original material drying. There is a picture of the front adjacent to the crack to show it doesn't go through.
