French Connection Navy Blue Lace Dress

Lovely dress I purchased for my stepson’s Navy retirement ceremony. Beautiful navy blue lace over a subtle cream lining; the bracelet length sleeves are unlined. The lace is light to medium weight, with a soft hand and a graceful drape. Measurements are taken lying flat and by a human, so are approximate: PTP 19” Waist 16” Sleeve 19” Length 34” (see photo) Necklines can be very important for some people in the look they’re going for - this dress has a slight boat neckline, and depth somewhere between crew neck and scoop. In Maine it’s a four season dress and crazy adaptable - beach wedding? nothing more than this dress and wind in your hair; summer rehearsal dinner? with flats, heeled sandals, booties, stilettos (right?); fall lunch, or dinner, or walk in the park? for lunch add a lightweight merino wool or baby alpaca sweater to wear or carry and a comfortable flat; for your walk in the park maybe a high hip length belted sweater with vibrant colors (think Anthropologie style) with flats, booties; holiday parties or hosting dinner at home? - the possibilities are endless . . .
