Vintage Badgley Mischka Bubble Dress, Size 8

Oh, how I would love a time machine just for proms! I adore a bubble dress; the gathering is sexy on any body type, and the bounce is just so much fun! I was surprised it was Badgley Mischka--the color and the cut are so non-traditional. An unexpected color combination that is so very on trend--coral, orange, pink, gold--and the bodice is a fabulous homage to the herringbone print. But the chevron trim is glittering gold! Adore. Pure silk, empire waist, and the skirt full, well-designed, and the construction dreamy and stunning in motion. Side zipper, chest 17 inches, waist 16.5 inches (but the material billows), length 37.5. Hips are around 20, and the silk is clingy in all the right places!
