melsybee504 I have this exact same coat! Trying to determine when I bought it in the 1990's. I'm sure I got it on sale but it was still an extravagance for me; well worth it. 30+ years later it is still my favorite go-to coat for winter. It is so warm and timeless in style. The hood is almost a shawl style hood in that it's loose and doesn't smash your hair. I feel as comfortable wearing it with jeans as I do with a dress. It's a classic!
