Vintage 1960s OMEGA Constellation Automatic Cal. 561 34mm Swiss Watch. Here is a preowned and 100% authentic Omega Constellation reference 14393-9 SC which dates from the 1960s. The Constellation was first introduced by Omega in 1952 as the top-of-the-range dress watch, always featuring a chronometer rated movement, and is now becoming increasingly popular with collectors. The watch is in great preowned condition with signs of wear. There is a scratch on the back case and the solid gold constellation crest is in great shape, there is also some minor scratches on the Original Bead of Rice Omega Bracelet clasp. As you will see in the pictures the watch has had both the dial and hand serviced. This is an Omega made, and supplied replacement dial and hand with a different specification. There is also patina that is starting to show on the minute hand due to natural aging. The case features the signature observatory logo on the case back. The caliber is the renowned Omega 561 automatic, 24 jewels, adjustment on 5 positions and temperature, and having a power reserve of 50h. This watch is a true vintage watch and may not operate as a brand new watch. Please allow + or - a bit in the timings of the watch in 24 hours. The date is semiautomatic: it is enough to position the hour hand at 9 am and at midnight the date automatically passes. The operation is to be renewed as necessary for a date setting.
