@b16cordova Thank you! 🤩💛 It truly is a wonderful bag. However, I prefer Chanel 19, or Chanel boy bag.
If I could find a long authentic gold/black Chanel chain strap, and convert to a crossbody I would keep it. But, it’s wishful thinking. It makes more sense to sell and purchase something else.

Hi ES, I have a similiar bag with puffed out squares. My theory is that puff bags predated serial numbers. My bag has no serial number. Any thoughts?

@billlieblong Hi!!! I am a bag collector. I have only purchased 2 bags that were estate sales, both vintage and obviously authentic, the rest of my collection were obtained from their designated boutiques. So, I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable in this field.🙂💝

@billlieblong In regards to missing serial number for your vintage Chanel, it’s normal. Chanel serial numbers pre-2000's are not protected by any tape, many vintage Chanel bags may be missing their serial number stickers. Some serial number stickers become loose. The beauty of a vintage Chanel is the 24k gold plated hardware, Impecable stitching, and lush lamb skin leather. 🤩
