megsmom97@tati_lk so there is no shoulder strap for this purse it is strictly a hand bag. All of the brown trim is real leather. All of the light basket weave is a raffia like material and the dark brown part of the basket weave is possibly faux leather. Im sorry I can't tell you the exact material of that darker part but my guess is faux leather
