Wonderful picture of 2 beautiful draft horses on a hill with stone wall and sky in background. I don't know the exact age nor if the picture is a painting or a photograph. This piece was in a horse-property home that was built in 1896. The frame is extraordinarily unique with gold scrolls at the edges and black strips in between. The glass and frame are in good condition, with the glass having a tiny beige spot on the left side of the mirror, near the frame edge. The frame is an unusual size, approximately 9 inches wide and 10.75 inches long. The thin paper backing is torn but the cardboard underneath is in good condition for its age. The hanging wire and little side-holders appear very old. Looks like someone added a more "modern" sawtooth picture hanger at the top. Fabulous item for anyone who loves horses and antiques!
