This literally grosses me out! I asked my husband "Why do girls sell used makeup that touches their fingers and eyes and lips?!" My husband's response "Because they're gross" I am a huge germaphobe. It's against posh policy. It's just nasty! Our fingers that "swatch" things, have natural oils on them, even if you did wash your hands. Dust particals in the air are made up of dead skin, animal hair, dirt etc. What if someone has herpes? Or Covid? & You bought a used lipstick from them and tried it on & bam- you may now have herpes or covid. What if someone has Pink eye or does drugs & sweating alot or puking alot? & You just used the same concealer they touched up their face with when it happened. Or the same eye palette & now you've got pink eye. Seriously just STOP. Health is worth more than a name brand. Save up and get the new one/use pay in 4 on Posh etc. You can still do it the cheap way, but the SAFE WAY!!

metamorphoasis @lovemealways86 So get this. I've gotten used items a handful of times, once this week actually, all were being sold as NWT and when they arrive they swatched, or the fabric is dirty. So I got back and read the ads again and people are starting to note 'marked nwt for exposure'. WTH is this??? If there are flaws, just disclose them. I don't even want to go through the hassle of returns but... girl I feel ya.

metamorphoasis @lovemealways86 Every time I search for Morphe on here for example, I select only NWT, then filter lowest-highest priced... I can guarantee you the first dozen results for Eyeshadow palettes are swatched when they say NWT 😒. Ugh... even though all of my product is brand new, if there's even a tiny bit of fall out from shipping or a dent in the box, I'd feel guilty not disclosing it 😂 I don't know how people do it.

jocelynnbharlan @theandreaj Unfortunately I’ve had this happen to me before. It’s absolutely disgusting and a complete loss on your end because can’t do anything with it but to throw it away. I am so sorry this happened to you. I NEVER sell or trade used ANYTHING unless visibly stated in the description, and it’s usually my granddaughter’s gently loved clothing or scents that I’m no longer into.
