1970s Vintage Signed Lesley Roy gold aventurine, floral, glass plate. New Haven, CT. Hand wash only. Handmade in the USA. Black and multicolor glass square plate with floral motif at center and Lepidoptera butterfly. Crackle effect throughout, metallic gold-tone trim and brand signature at underside. Handmade, it is a classic gilt edged floral 8" glass plate by Lesley Roy Designs ( Lepidoptera Collection ). On Lesley Roy's blog she explains that her inspiration for the Lepidoptera line came from the grace and colorful presentation of the Lepidoptera butterflies / moths.
