This dress was professionally hemmed to graze the floor. The bodice has been taken in to fit 31" in the chest & 24" in the waist (no allowance to be let out again). I probably could have gotten away with wearing a size 0, but my bridal dress consultant advised me to purchase a size 2 just to be on the safe side & have it altered to fit my body more accurately. As a result, I would say this dress fits smaller than a size 2 post alterations. The back of the dress has a button added where it can be bustled. The fabric is ethereal silk gazaar with an organza overlay & is closer to white than ivory in color. It has a gorgeous flow & movement to it & is just all around dreamy.
