It is patent leather and picks up the light. There are no rips, tears, or scratches visible. I added pics after someone asked me that. I think I need to start all over with it. Thanks for bring it to my attention! It's a very nice bag🥰

This purse should have sold and the photos are probably why it hasn't. It's dark in Alabama but I will take it to my sunroom and get some good photos! So sorry.....my fault!
