Gramophone Postcards are a miniature single sided disc record which is glued onto the postcard and a center hole is then punched through both the disc and the postcard. The first known reference of gramophone postcards was around Nov 17, 1903 in Berlin. The Gramophones were Singing postcards. In 1907 an opaque surface of the records was used in the USA and Patented. The minature record playing greetings started to appear in 1915 in the US. Later on it, the gramophone cards began to be embossed with floral or pictoral designs along with their record.
