This one of a kind, denim jacket, has been up-cycled with a vintage Guy Laroche silk scarf, hundreds of hand sewn sequins, star studs and vintage brooches and charms! The scarf is a fox hunting scene and lyrics from “What does the fox say?” have been ‘graffiti like’ painted on the front and sleeve. Trim, beads, and tassels adorn the back. His mom gave it to him years ago. My dad’s 91 so the bowl is old! I’m doing “A Bowl Full of Cats Roaming Rome” and it’s going to be really silly and fun!!

damiangray@warnocks Your Dad sounds remarkable! 8 miles a day..amazing... Art & I were just talking about stamina and discipline having just watched " Halftime" on Netflix. A doc that leads up to Jennifer Lopez's halftime performance at the Super Bowl. It's a great doc. I was skating 5 miles a day & jumping rope but a knee replacement changed that routine..Now a recumbent bike & walking is the best I got..but I'm not complaining! Never got into running myself but admire people who do!

warnocks@damiangray I used to run 5 miles, day in and day out. Loved it! I talked my dad into running to see if it might help with headaches. He was 50ish at the time. He went nuts with it, me, not so much!! I never wanted to run marathons but that’s what drives him. He rafts down the whitewater of the Colorado River every year as well! He and my mother are the most disciplined people I have ever known. Out of spite, I am not!!🤪

warnocks@damiangray Hey, Leslie! I was just thinking about you! We DID have a great 4th. We were in Texas with all 13 of our grandkids plus my oldest grandson’s cute fiancé so we had a huge group! We got home late (early) 3:30am yesterday due to canceled and delayed flights. I don’t know if I told you but I’m going back to work on Monday. Our DA’s office can’t find a decent Victims Advocate and they called me and offered me the job.

First off, I realized my appointment wasn’t the 29th, it was actually the 25th, and I only noticed on Sunday when I was looking for something in the bowels of my purse and found the appointment card. The 25th had passed and I missed it!

warnocksSo, on Monday I call and beg for an appointment on the 29th. Tell them I can’t stand this tube for another minute. I may have cried. They give me an appointment on the 29th at 9:00 am. Wake up that morning to a huge blizzard. MY Doctor’s office is an hour away in the direction of the storm. I call to reschedule the appointment. More crying.

warnocksThey gave me an appointment for yesterday at 9:00am. We’re there and I’m so excited. My Doctor is not a chatty guy. He has me lie down on the table and says “Take a deep breath and brace yourself. This will hurt like a mother for a couple of seconds.” I take a deep breath and he yanks that tube out and I think I left my body for about 2 seconds!!! I think I heard a scream which my husband confirmed was me but I don’t recall screaming!!!

warnocksTo say the least, it definitely hurt like a mother!!! And now it doesn’t hurt but when I drink liquid it seeps out the hole, soaking my clothes. The hole should close on its own in a couple of days but in the meantime I have a pretty cool party trick!!! Not sure if I feel great or not but we’re going to Santa Fe for the weekend so we’ll see. Thanks for checking up on me!!!! 🥰

I had a biopsy once that felt similar to what you described..the worst! You're much braver than I traveling to Sante Fe ..but I'm sure it's for family, so enjoy & stay dry!!❣
