angelababy@kathymorrisey hi there thank you for your interest, the color is darker in real life actually I think cuz when I took those pictures , it was the lighting that affected the look of the color , and the marks your saw closed to the handles are actually leather aging or rubbing off from the handle I think , cuz my aunt didn’t wear it much , it has been in the box for the last 10+ years . Thank you
