And exquisitely decorated antique Nippon tea pot. Gilded with hand painted, very delicate pink and purple flowers. Woven handle. The inside is very clean and appears to never have been used. There is some slight wear on the gilding near the handle, some fine cracks along the bottom and on one side. It appears that the top piece of the handle may have been glued back on. Due to the age of this piece I think it is best for display, not regular usage as a tea pot.
