Vintage Paper Hand Fan Lavender Pink Kranz Chicago Made in Japan

Lovely vintage paper fan in spread of lavender and pink flowers with gold and yellow accents. On the back is printed Kranz Chicago and Made in Japan. There was a well-known, upper grade, candy store in Chicago called Kranz from 1873-1946. This possibly could have been an accent item sold at that store. The font leads us to early 20th century. The plastic sticks are covered in lavender and gold paper. The background is a muted yellow with some applied gold glitter. There is a metal holder from which hangs a rather used off-white tassel. Size: 8 1/2" long; 24" arch; 1 1/4 x 1/2 closed Condition: good vintage, there are no major tears, perhaps some rough edges. At the back are a couple less than pea size splotches that do not show through. #51218a F2/2
