Vintage Amethyst Pendant

Beautiful vintage piece featuring a polished chevron amethyst and 3 cut amethysts (2 oval & 1 teardrop). All are set into silver 32.5 metal. Pendant hangs 2.5", chevron amethyst is .75" across. Cut stones are approximately .50". Excellent vintage condition. Amethyst derives its name from the Greek word amethystos meaning sober. It is said Dionysus (god of wine) gave stone powers to prevent drunkenness. Many individuals struggling with alcohol addiction wear amethyst as a talisman for mental clarity and support.
