Vintage Brass Desk Post Office

Two ounce Vintage Brass desktop postal scale or Desk Post Office. The weight of letter you place in the side slot /causes the .scale to trigger letting the executive know it required more postage. Spring of scale works quite well, brass dome holds a roll of stamps and note the very small inset on the brass top. you will see in photo #1. The brass scale sits on a black metal enamel base and I see no scratches in that black enamel. The bottom side that is not shown is covered in worn green/gray felt that is well glued down. The top of the round dome unscrews to allow placement of a roll of stamps inside with an opens slot to allow the stamps to be removed with ease. This very functional Desk Post Office would be a great Valentines gift for that person who is an office worker. Rare and hard to find in this condition. Very unique
