lynda721@fancycandy007 Thank you for that. I can’t believe how hard she is fighting. We are already past the Drs estimates but, it’s so hard to watch someone demise. I just started putting flowers in her room and that was the first smile I’ve seen in a while. Keeping the positivity at the forefront. That’s why when I do have a chance to jump on Posh, I do it; even if only for a short time. I usually end up talking to one of my PFFs (like you right now).

He is having issues with confusion and anxiety. On top of that, Saturday night I was cradling him and his breathing was so labored that I thought he was going to die in my arms. lynda721@indigo_w128 He is old and he also has an infection that is untreatable. We have been watching him very carefully to make sure he is not in pain. He seems to be fragile at times and then he will act like a pup for a few minutes playing with his toys but, he can’t play for very long. He gets tired. He has an appointment on Monday with our Vet. Thank you for your concern. It’s so hard to lose a pet; no matter how old you are.

lynda721@shiloh077 Unfortunately, he cannot recover from the infection he has. I could have only one more day with him or not. We don’t know. It’s been a really long past three weeks. He was exhibiting symptoms since the beginning of the year but, they come and go. I am just giving him all the love I have to give right now. In the picture I just posted, you can see in his eyes that he is hurting. 😢

lynda721@shiloh077 He will not let me work because he wants my constant touch. I have to get it in while he is sleeping or just laying down. His legs get shaky and he gets these involuntary muscle spasm; like he’s getting shocked.

Going to the Vet on Tuesday Morning. Hopefully I will get an idea of what “stage” he is in as far as the infection is concerned.

He has been doing better in the mornings but, as the day progresses so, do his symptoms. There are a lot of times that if I took my hand off of him to use my computer he would start wailing about a tenth of a second.

lynda721@jenniefinds007 The hard part is that he doesn’t act one way all day. So I’m constantly trying to keep him comfortable but, he wants to literally sit on me. I have to wait until he sleeps to Posh because I he will cry if I take my hand off of him. Then a few hours later he wants to play! I am literally constantly adjusting things; it reminds me of my daughter, when she was a baby. Thanks for checking in. I am so overtired that I can’t sleep. Gonna try to put my head down soon.

myhappyplace22@lhaag721 yes it ran in her family. Both our Mom/dad husky were pure breeds we got from Minnesota. Our female Miyah who just passed had 6 puppies. Miyah outlived all her babies and the dad. I’m glad she’s at peace now and with dad and pups❤️🙏🏼Thank you take care🙏🏼

I canceled my knee replacement surgery as well. I’m just trying not to be overwhelmed.

My daughter had an accident at work last week and after several doctor appointments we had to take her to the hospital Burn Center. I haven’t been online much while we take care of her. Very scary. It’s been difficult to manage 2 posh parties during this. My main focus is her.

lynda721@swirlygurl I’m sure it’s been hard! Prayers for a quick recovery for your poor daughter. I know all about burns. My former husband was a Chef and had an accident while transporting a big pot of boiling water. They had to do skin graphs to treat it. They said that pain meds don’t help pain from burns so he had to suffer through it. I hope she gets better treatment.

lynda721@katiejerozal11 Hi Katie. Thank you for letting me know you are knowledgeable about dogs. Chase has a very bad infection in his mouth. Last January 2021, was when he was diagnosed. Unfortunately antibiotics don’t work on the infection. So he was doing fine for almost a year. My only choice was to have all his teeth pulled. But, I didn’t want him to go through that at his age (14). The Vet also told me that it was high risk to put him under anesthesia.

lynda721@katiejerozal11 Pain meds don’t seem to help. He is having neurological issues that have been showing up as soon as I figure out how to deal with these strange things he is doing. He’s been coughing for over a month but, when he first started doing it, I didn’t know what it was. Now it sounds like a cough. His allergies have made things a lot more difficult.

He has always been at my side but, now he can’t get any closer to me 24-7. Especially when he’s sleeping. He slept in my arms the past few nights. That is the only way that I can get him to sleep.
