This is an gorgeous fossilized coral sterling silver pendant. These fossils were formed around 225 million years ago. The proper name for fossilized coral is 'agatized coral' or 'agatized fossil coral', because during formation, the coral remains are gradually replaced with agate, a variety of naturally occurring chalcedony. This stone is extremely high quality. The bail is made of sterling silver. It’s not stamped but tested positive for sterling with acid test. It comes with a matching tan color genuine suede strap. You can adjust the length of the strap. In excellent vintage condition.
