SOLD 1980’s Gucci Black Glazed Leather Brit Blonde Big GG Logo Flap Shoulder Bag

Authentic rare vintage 80’s black glazed leather Brit Blondie big GG logo flap shoulder bag. Bag has snap front flap closure with big gold tone GG logo emblem, glazed leather body and trim, black suede interior with zipper pocket and adjustable shoulder strap. Bag measures approximately 8.5”H x 11”W x 3”D. Strap drop is 13” to 15” long. Strap has been set at 14” drop for years, so that’s where I kept it. Serial/Style 23-01-1633. The stamp is very blurry! Approximate era is early to late 80’s. Gucci dust bag is included. Bag shows wear due to age/use/storage. Glazed leather body of the bag is in fair condition. Leather shows dryness, wrinkling, creases and some cracking. Leather trim and shoulder strap shows wrinkling and dryness There are small cracks along the top edges of the bag on two sides as shown in the photos. Suede interior shows minor dust/dirt/soiling. Hardware is in great condition considering how old the bag is. It’s still a nice bright gold color. This is a rare glazed leather Gucci bag. I am not familiar on how to clean bags like this. I wiped it with a damp cloth to remove the dust from it and am leaving it as is. This bag can be used as it is but would definitely benefit by taking to a leather professional and having it professionally tended to, extending its usable life. It was probably stored for many many years causing the issues shown. Sold AS IS. Ask questions before purchasing.
