Drawstring waist can be tied on either side to give the waist definition, shoulders are pinned and gathered so that you can have mobility and flexibility in this jacket - the fabric is there for when you move without being bulky!!! That's typically one of my biggest complaints is not enough shoulder room to be able to move, and that the jacket will ride up. BUT ANOT THIS BABY! I love that this is very moto without being too masculine, still has a very feminine feel to it with the adjustable gather at the waist. Great light weight fall jacket, or if you're like me and run hot, great year round! Ha!
