Rare Vintage NYC Coach Ruff Out Mocha Brown Leather Watermelon Tote Style No. 9448 Serial No. 638-0661 Handcrafted in the original New York City "Factory" in the late 1970’s From Coach on the Watermelon Tote: “This early Coach classic combines the best features of a zippered satchel and an open tote. Handy outside coin purse is leather lined. Industrial zipper is solid brass. Extra pocket inside.” A rare version of the Watermelon Tote, this reverse suede version has luxuriously soft suede on the outside with smooth leather trim. On the inside of the bag and coin purse you’ll find silky soft smooth leather. Body measurements: 13” x 10” x 3” This beauty has held onto her original hangtag and was very gently used and stored away. Close to all of the brass on the coin purse is intact as is the brass holding on the handles. All brass fittings have been polished. There is some dimpling on the handles from the chain of the hangtag resting on them while stored. There is also a small patch of white on the inside panel as shown. Otherwise, you would mistake this girl for new! She certainly has a story to tell and is ready to wear! I am open to reasonable offers, and would LOVE to hear from you!
