ritashops4u @auntieleen this is a light weight puffer down. Most of my down jackets have been this quality and I live in Mn. At 67 I think I’d like to get a thicker down but these have worked well for me. I think layering is key as well. I just started using Smartwool baselayer TShirt and wool socks. Love them plus add a soft cashmere scarf!!! Even just adding a plain tank helps. Hope that helps! Rita

ximexaci Hi Rita. has the jacket been washed? I know that this type of jackets loose some of their fluff and warming properties after being washed several times. thanks!
