amylitten Hi do you think this is a child? If diameter is 8 inches that would mean opening is only about 2 inches which doesn’t make a lot of sense. My head is only about 18 inches around so I’m thinking that this would fit like a tam and kind of sit slightly at an angle on my head it doesn’t go over the ears. Please let me know if you can measure all the way around the opening and if that is 8 inches. Yes it’s probably too small. Thank you so much for your help. It’s an absolutely darling hat.

clcrane @amylitten Sorry I was traveling back yesterday. It measures about 22 inches around. It fits on the top of my head, but it does not cover my ears. It is stretchy. It’s a knit so it’s like a little cap.
