Hi Kerrylynne- quick question. I put an offer on the red one. Is it really more like a burgundy or pretty close to a red? I am a tennis pro and will be competing in Turkey in March on the USA World Cup team and want the red if it will will pass for our flag red. I am just tired of the commercial tennis logo bags that aren’t real pretty. I thought this would mix things up a bit. What do you think about the “red”. Or I could get the black and put some red white and blue on it.

We are switching manufacturers and have overstock - so no need to worry about any smells or damage as all bags are stored in their original plastic wrapped packaging and are not taken out for anything other than orders :) Feel free to email

@tennistracie As for the color - in my opinion it’s somewhere between a true red and a burgundy. Since the flag of Turkey is more of a true red, the “burgundy Racquet Bag” color might be slightly too dark. @mandy2041 Forgot to answer your question regarding who the bag is made by. The Racquet bag is produced by a boutique handbag and racquet bag company called “Louise & Eleanor”. They also produce all of the official Cliff Drysdale Tennis Association Racquet Bags.

@g8queenbee it’s Vegan Leather. The “Modern-Vintage Black” & the “Burgundy” Bags have more of a sheen to their material, which helps sustain some rain/liquid spills - can easily be wiped off with a microfiber towel without causing any damage. The “Original Matte Black” bag is very similar, but ever so slightly less water repellent since this material is Matte - still can take some rain/spillage just fine though.

@g8queenbee There is no such thing as a racquet bag being 100% “water-proof” - but yes the exterior material is “water-repellent” regarding any of the things that may naturally occur on the tennis court - ie: a bit of weather suddenly occurring, a water bottle spilling or splashing a bit onto the bag. The material on the inside of the bag is not water-repellent but will dry just fine if it gets a little wet.
