debbyjones717I notice the word derby fedora. Is that a standard fedora style as perhaps most men wore in the 50’s or is a derby style different than a standard mens dress hat. My apology for any dumb questions. My father was born in 1910 and always wore a hat to church, a dress hat and suit. A fedora? Any info would be helpful. Thank you

In my research, the fedora hat became a popular accessory with women, “particularly among activists campaigning for gender equality during the late nineteenth century. The fedora was eventually adopted as a defining symbol of the women's rights movement.” I learned something new!
