Huipil
A garment, worn by descendants of the ancient Maya, has come to represent indigenous solidarity and defiance amid oppression.
The basic shape of the huipil is simple, and identical all across Guatemala: two lengths of hand-woven fabric, stitched together to form a square blouse.
This Huipil may have come from Kakaw Designs, but cannot confirm.
Please understand this is a hand woven traditional garment, and should be treated with respect.
I have not altered, mended or cut any imperfections, but have left it as is.
Measurements posted in Pictures, Size 4 is a ROUGH ESTIMATE.
This pattern is of birds and geometric pattterns.
