Vintage brooch depicting a young couple in love, inspired by the paintings of Jean Honore Fragonard. This is a stunning signed Florenza brooch with a print of a pastoral scene (called a "transfer") on a ceramic or porcelain cabochon. The romantic cabochon is set in a white enamel metal setting that has been washed with gold paint for an antique look. The cabochon is ringed by turquoise glass "ballotini" (tiny glass balls). The brooch is marked "FLORENZA" on the back with the copyright symbol. Limoges style.
