PRICE FIRM! So adorable 70s prairie maxi dress by Candi Jones of California. Soft gauzy sheer cotton in pale blue. Sweet little romantic touches of lace trims, satin ribbons and a tie back waist... so much like Gunne Sax vibes! I have had about a dozen Candi dresses over my vintage collecting years... I have always wondered about this designer. There is little info online. Its always so similar to Gunne sax... I wonder if they worked with jessica...or if they just seen Gunne and thought I can do the same. I wonder who came first? I have had Candi dresses that looked late 50s early 60s. But most are late 60s and 70s. Either way... they did a wonderful job of creating beautiful quality dresses. This is just as stunning as gunne.
