70’s original great condition camel suede whipstitch suit. Has been in storage since the party days of the 70’s and is ready for a new owner since I can’t fit in it. Reads size 7/8 but fits more like a 0. Buttery soft leather from premiere brand North Beach. Vintage, retro and sweet this suit is ready to be worn again! *edit* for reference I am 5’6”, 36c full cup breast size, typically wear a size 4/6. This is how it’s not supposed to look on lol

rosefacepdx@jesstref I wouldn’t say it’s high rise, more mid rise. I don’t want to say it will fit and be wrong, it seems like the pants might be a bit of squeeze not positive it would fit..

There is an auction house that sold a NBL jacket specifically made for Elvis that sold for $5,000. And another complete suit that was listed for an eye-popping $11,000. All so interesting.

rosefacepdx@blairpotter the waist measures 26”. Please note the material is suede so there is very little give and stretch. I could fit these pants when I was a size 2 but once I put a little weight on and started wearing a 4 I couldn’t get them buttoned up. I only wore them for trying for fit at home but never out.

jesstrefI am 5'4, weigh 112, 34B, typically wear a 2/26 in jeans. Do you think it could fit? If a bit snug would you think there's any possibility of the suede stretching a bit over time?

rosefacepdx@jesstref These are pure suede and will stretch with time to conform to your body if you give them time to gently stretch. There are some great resources online about using your body heat over time to relax the suede. I think it more or less depends on where you carry your weight, if you have hips and a tush these will work fine for someone your size but if you carry your weight in your mid section it might be pretty tight. Hope that helps! Let me know if I can give any more details…

jesstrefThank you for all of that info! I am definitely a tush girl, but kinda short waisted. I just measured my waist just above the belly button and got 27 1/4. It appears the waist on these is around 25". From the rise measurement these seem to be more on the high waisted side? So maybe possible that the waist could stretch over time.....
