DESCRIPTION Vintage Burberrys pure wool Fair Isle sweater, made in Scotland. Beautiful heritage knit in warm heathered tones of burgundy, olive, slate blue and soft red, with a classic shawl-collar placket and original leather woven button. Label reads “Burberrys London-New York-Paris” (pre-1999 branding). Soft, slightly brushed hand-feel with that authentic Scottish-loom texture. Wonderful vintage character and a great piece for collectors, winter styling, or film/wardrobe use. CONDITION Gently worn vintage condition with light overall wear consistent with age. The leather button shows surface distressing (see photos). A vintage leather replacement button is included with the sweater in case the buyer prefers to swap it.
