Setting is solid sterling silver with 0.15ct of natural diamonds. Emerald size is 7x5mm (1 carat). The price is very reasonable on these stones because even though they are natural emeralds, they are doublets with a lot of inclusions and were color treated to make the green color darker.

trinitynorth@rubyresells Yeah my bf bought me a teeny tiny emerald but it was absolutely perfect quality and set in 14k $800! Sheesh.

trinitynorth@rubyresells And emeralds are going to be all mined in 20 years so hold onto those is you have a good one they say they go up 10X in price. 😉

rubyresellsNot* natural emeralds? Correct?

Aug 27Reply

fe_stepka@theruthlessruby yes natural emerald but it is a doublet - a natural stone on top of another so it looks bigger. See product description.

Aug 27Reply

rubyresells@fe_stepka I saw that, but wasn’t sure what doublet meant. I just know natural emeralds are more expensive than diamonds… thank you for the clarification
