@hannahbee1717 hi there. I corrected the size and as you indicated in the Lanvin brand 40 is equivalent to a US 9.

@mswartz12 sorry to respond so late. I honestly missed your comment. I have corrected the size. Per the size chart, 40 is equivalent to a size 9. I am usually a 9 - 9.5 and these are a snug fit.
