RARE sarah whitworth 80's vintage goth dress

from 80's goth designer sarah whitworth "deadlier than the male" - as profiled in i-D magazine No. 22 February 1985! (also for sale!) strapless corset dress, vertical stripes, overall fabric feels like cotton, shirred sides on bodice, lightly boned, laces up the back, v waist, convertible skirt can be buttoned up at the sides or left to fall freely, pencil-type slip skirt lines the bottom beneath sheer striped layer. the back left bone is ever so slightly starting to poke thru the top, there is a snag near the top front of the skirt, a pull in the lower left front of bodice, and skirt needs to be sewn back to the bodice at front left waist, possibly some fixing under the back laceup. vintage and delicate! size is uk 12 which translates to a us 10 - guessing us 8 as this is vintage. about 16" from underarm to underarm, 14" across the waist, 13.5" from V of bodice to V of waist, 25" from V of waist to hem, 39.5" from V of bodice to hem. #80sgoth #vintagegoth #victorian #goth #gothic
