Vintage Ingber Leather and Resin Handbag

Vintage Ingber purse. Exterior made of fine leather, inside lined with taffeta. Inner zipper pocket as well as card pocket and powder pocket. Brass clasp to close, and an oblong oval resin twisted formed handle. In excellent condition with minimal flaws except for the hinges have worn at the leather and inner lining a bit as shown in pictures. Beautiful condition for age of bag. Ingber purses were known for their uniqueness during the earlier part of the 20th century. The company made purses from the early 1900s until the factory shut it's doors in the 60s. It was in the 60s the Ingber brothers were making fine leather purses and this select bag is probably from the late 50s or early 60s. Rare and difficult to find in this good condition.
