This set was an estate sale find. Research shows that the bisqueware pieces were likely painted by Avis Sizemore (1937-2023). In her obituary, it was noted that she was well known for her arts and crafts and especially enjoyed painting on canvas and ceramics.
A great piece of Americana reminiscent of Shawnee Pottery Corn King pieces!
