Beautiful NWT lace and bead embellished mermaid/trumpet-style bridal gown. This was a sample gown in a bridal shop. Beading and floral lace on the bodice only. Skirt is white. In excellent new condition. No visible flaws. Comes with garment bag and padded hanger. Ships insured. Please note: it's usual for wedding gowns to lose a bead here and there. Wedding gowns can also be taken out or in via a seamstress. It is always suggested brides hire a seamstress for proper fittings & bead repair.

alexjegge So I’m usually a size 4/6…. And 8 would definitely require some alterations…can you tell me if you think altering this dress would be possible?

sugarsnapresale @alexjegge Yes, you would probably need to have it taken in. This is usual for wedding gowns - they don't often fit precisely and need alterations. I previously worked in a bridal shop and we advised brides to order 1 size up when they found a gown they liked from the samples. It's always better to be able to take it in to for a smaller size, rather than to have to take it out.

sugarsnapresale @alexjegge You would probably also need a bustle added - to prevent people from stepping on the train during your reception. IIt would also be part of your alterations. Just a little button and hook to hold the train up off the floor on the back of the dress. 🙂
