Napoleon III boule marquetry small hinged box

Bought in Paris Most boule marquetry boxes run in thousands I am listing this less expensively due to the fact that sides are plain. Condition of marquetry is excellent. Lacquer appears to have been redone on side. Slight pain stain on bottom. This could have been a jewelry box or a mock up of a larger game box
