6 VINTAGE SAKE CUPS / Japan Eggshell Porcelain / ARITA WARE / 5 White, 1 Flower

The kilns around Arita, Japan have been making the finest wafer-thin porcelain for hundreds of years. This vintage set contains 5 pure white sake cups that are so thin you can almost read through them and 1 taller, thinner cup with floral decoration. The white cups measure 2 inches wide by 1 inch tall and the floral cup is 1.5 inches wide by 2 inches tall. All are in excellent condition but the floral cup has glaze craquelure from being so old.
