You can plant perennials any time your soil is workable. The prime times to plant perennials are spring or fall. These seasons allow plants to get settled and grow new roots before summers hot, dry weather arrives. Planting in summer is okay, but youll need to water frequently.

Bearded Iris prefer well drained soil and full sun.
This plant will get to be about 36 inches tall; plant about 2 feet apart.
Will grow and multiple quickly.
They ship as bare root.
