5-piece place setting of ‘Golden Rose’ bone china by Royal Chelsea. Made in England. This was my mother’s wedding china. She married at barely 19 right after high school in 1946. Sadly, the marriage ended in divorce after a few years and later, she remarried to my father which lasted 54 years. Although she was an elegant entertainer, she rarely used this. Perhaps it was because it was from her first marriage and she and my dad didn’t get china after eloping to Las Vegas. Dinner plate 10.5”; salad; approx 8”; bread 6.25”; saucer 5.5”; cup 3 7/8” x2.1/4”. There are 8 place settings total in excellent condition. A separate post has a setting showing a tad more use on two plates so it is priced a little lower.
