Why Slow Fashion Is Better

Fashion is one of the most polluting industries, right up there with oil, so one of the best things we can do is consume less by shopping ‘slow fashion’ and reusing more by shopping thrifted/used items. If everyone in the US bought just 1 item used instead of new this year, it would save nearly 6 billion pounds of carbon emissions, the same as taking half a million cars off the road for an entire year.
