luvnoostuf I live in CT near Where the Tunxis tribe once inhabited. I find pieces that look like all of these ( with exception of flint piece) in my yard all the time when I garden, but doubt what I find, not knowing if points are made from slate, granite, and volcanic rock. Sometimes they are chipped but still looked intentionally formed. Thanks for sharing.

butt3rfli3s Just wonder where and how you happened to obtain these artifacts and where you got the expertise to identify the style and type?! Thank you!

butt3rfli3s This knowledge and interest will disappear if no one educates and generates an interest in Native American lore and culture! Thanks for posting these on your site!

minkeybusiness @butt3rfli3s Thanks for your comments. I worked for 20+ years on the estate sale committee of my church. These came from one of our sales. I bought all that remained at the end of the sale.

minkeybusiness @butt3rfli3s Fortunately, one of the members of our committee was quite knowledgeable about them, having collected them since his childhood. He was from upstate New York. I would not have attempted to resell them without his assistance.
