This is an amazing ring! It’s a doublet made of either natural sapphire crown & synthetic sapphire pavilion or natural garnet crown and glass pavilion. It’s hard to say on a mounted ring. The mount is gold vermeil (gold plated sterling silver). Stamped 925 for sterling silver and CL for the manufacturer’s logo / brand. A size 8.00 and in excellent vintage condition.

msa5123 @skeeweeland Hi there! Yes it can but then it has to be gold plated again. My advice is to get your jeweler insert a ring size reducer metal plate on the ring shank which can be taken out when you don’t want it. I’ve had many rings reduced in size when I was younger and now that my fingers are larger they don’t fit. I wish someone had suggested this to me back then! Your fingers getter bigger as you age! 🤗🤗
