shopaholicjai@aroostaie there is no waitlist. If you signed up for emails the day before a release you’ll receive an email about what items are being released and what time... I set me alarm 30 mins before the release and I always get something. The last two releases I was able to get handbags and a hat. I just received an email today about a du-rag release tomorrow. The last handbag release was almost two weeks ago💜

piperpiperI'm old enough to remember when Prada nylon backpacks were a big deal. They used to retail for much less. When Prada caught wind of people selling them for more on ebay, they jacked up their prices to capitalize on the demand. If you want Telfar to do the same, keep overpaying on sites like this. If you really want the bag, get on the waitlist like the rest of us. Got my medium bag today and paid just over $200 for it.

thelouisgasm@alecia I’m feeling the pain right now .... only instead of it being jacked up bags... it’s the ridiculous PS5 for my son this holiday. Retail: $499 and the resellers (mostly bot opportunists) are scalping them for 2-3 times Sony’s retail. It’s just like with the bags only instead of disappointed ladies, you have a bunch of really bummed up kids.

ana121@cupcakec You have a point there but I think “supply + demand” model shouldn’t apply here. *Maybe I’m wrong* but I think the motivation to buy Telfar bags is driven by the desire to support a small minority designer not the bag....If that’s the case then why pay 4x the price if the Designer isn’t benefiting?

Whether the RESELLER decides to price something (they purchased with their own money) lower or higher for a profit that’s their business lol. Whether someone wants to pay an extra 10-500 because they want a particular color or doesn’t want to set an alarm for 9am that’s their business. The point I’m making is you cannot be pissed at a reseller for seeing an opportunity. All retailers are resellers.

cupcakec@ana121 prime example— just yesterday I purchased an outdoor fire pit from Walmart that retailed for 130. I did some internet research and saw target was selling the SAME fire pit for $431!! The kicker is .. it was SOLD OUT. You think I’m gonna go screaming to the mountain tops that target overcharged everyone Lmaoo. Not to mention the fire pit prolly manufactured for no more than $50. It is what it is.

CRAZY. the black and dark drown is being sold on here for almost $400. don’t say “not for you-for everyone” but making it unobtainable for customers to purchase. then having to wait 3 months+… over it lol

teidr560Telfar is having their bag security program going on now until noon on Saturday October 9th. Go to their official website and read about the bag security program. The bag doesn’t come until March 2022 (just in time for my birthday lol) however I know that mine will be real and not fake. Just a suggestion.
